AC Disc Suspension Insulators
Our AC disc suspension porcelain insulators (cap-and-pin type) are the workhorse of overhead transmission. Available in normal, fog and anti-pollution shed profiles, each unit is type-tested to IEC 60305 / IEC 60383 and routine-tested 100% for mechanical and electrical performance. Strings are configurable from 33 kV up to 1000 kV AC. Optional zinc collars provide additional protection in marine and industrial environments.
